The robbery of the SRM university is
not over with the above incidents. In the area of Ramavaram, Chennai one
ground (5 ½ cents) will cost rupees 6 to 8 crores and if so the cost of one
cent will cost Rs. One crores and forty lakhs. In Ramapuram, the land
with survey No. 134:1 (new No.134:1A) belongs to Tamil Nadu Housing
Board. T otal area is 228 cents and total value will be Rs.319
crores. This land was acquired by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board from one
Andal Ammal. The cases filled against this by Mr. Pachaimuthu in 1986 and
1995 were dismissed by the court and the judgment was in favour of the Tamil
Nadu Housing Board. But all the power is in his hand and hence he Built
buildings for 6 lakhs sqft area for the Easwari Engineering College and Dental
College (for a bout 6lakhs sqft area). How did the Panchayat and the City
Development Board grant permission for this. In Chennai, in order to
threat the business men, cases were filed to remove the buildings constructed
without proper permission. But why not such cases filled against this SRM
group for their deeds, because, I need not say, every month a particular
amount of money is sent to the persons concerned regularly, who do not open
their mouth against this and Pachaimuthu has been enjoying the landed asset
worth of Rs.319 crores.
